Recent Happenings

My Dad found out that he has skin cancer. He has had two surgeries but he is in alot of pain. Hopefully, the doctor got rid of all the cancer and he won't need chemo. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

We have about 3" of snow here but it is beautiful! It really gets me in the holiday mood.

We let our dd go trick or treating since this will probably be her last year to do so. We took ds8 and ds baby to the harvest festival. It's better this way since ds8 is a diabetic. He doesn't get alot of candy to tempt him.He had a good time and was dressed as some sort of superhero and ds baby was dressed as a jack-o' lantern. Cute, cute!

Things have changed AGAIN with homeschooling: dd will now be doing: teaching textbooks for math, Steck- Vaughn social studies and Dear America books,Odysseyware Science, Language lessons for the elementary child and Easy Grammar. DS 8 is doing FIAR, language lessons for little ones, and Rod and Staff math.

Our little guy has come down with a cold and is very fussy. Please pray for wellness.

Dh and ds8 will be flying next week because ds8 has to see the scoliosis doctor. Please pray for safety and wellness.

DS17 graduates from homeschool this year and isn't sure what he wants to do. He is considering: college, ANG, or a full time job. Please pray for direction for him.

Well, I have to go tend to my fussy little sleepyhead but maybe he'll feel better tomorrow and I'll be back with more news.
